Manchester Town Hall

The heart of Manchester.

Manchester City hall is an imposing building in the Neo-Gothic style. It was designed by the architect Alfred Waterhouse who was inspired by the Victorian Gothic movement.
The City Hall opened its doors in 1877.
Inside, the floor of the Great Hall is a mosaic depicting bees symbolising the industry of Manchester. The Hall of Sculptures houses statues of the city's great and the good.
